128: Cultivating Clarity and Certainty

Feb 14, 2023

Last week, Dr. Marie Murphy discussed the reality of seeking advice from other people, and why it’s significantly more beneficial to cultivate clarity and certainty for yourself. Today, she’s discussing a time in her life when she didn’t take this advice for herself, and instead of creating clarity and certainty, she cultivated total unintentional nonsense and uncertainty.

If you think you’re confused about major questions in your life and your infidelity situation and you can’t possibly answer them for yourself, this is the cautionary tale you need to hear. The story doesn’t have to do with infidelity per se, but the level of mental conflict and confusion will be more than relatable.

Tune in this week to discover the value of cultivating clarity and certainty for yourself. You’ll hear a story that illustrates this point, and why changing your thoughts based on other people’s opinions or societal norms around your infidelity situation will never produce the certainty and clarity you’re seeking.
