BIO

Dr. Marie Murphy is a highly sought-after relationship coach with over 20 years of experience helping people navigate the intimate details of their sexual and romantic lives.

Marie has a Ph.D. in the sociology of sexuality, and uses her expertise to help men who are having affairs decide what they want, and what they’re going to do about it.  

 

Dr. Murphy offers one-on-one coaching tailored to the client’s specific needs via Zoom in a shame-free, blame-free environment. Her clients love that she is easy to confide in, completely unshockable, totally non-judgmental, and full of wise, pragmatic guidance.

Marie is the host of the podcast, “Your Secret is Safe with Me: Non-judgmental talk about infidelity with Dr. Marie Murphy.” Her website is mariemurphyphd.com, and she publishes advice on how to deal with having an affair via her blog here, as well as on Medium and LinkedIn.  

 

Dr. Murphy received her B.A. in sociology and human sexuality studies from San Francisco State University, and her Ph.D. in the sociology of sexuality from the University of California, San Diego. 

 

Marie lives in San Francisco with her spouse and their West Highland White Terrier.  She’s a proud doggie mama, devoted yogi and meditator, and lover of great food and great fiction.
