121: How Good Can You Stand It?

Your Secret Is Safe With Me with Dr. Marie Murphy | Is Monogamy (Un)Natural?

How would you rate your current love life on a scale of 1-10? Be honest with yourself; the rating you give your love life isn’t that important. What is important is acknowledging whether you like the rating you chose, or if you want your love life to be better. We often place limits based on what we think is available to us and we think that, if we’re unhappy with our love lives, we’re stuck with our lot.

But the truth is, if you want to have a different experience in your love life or any area of your life, you need to believe that the kinds of experiences you want to have are actually available to you. If you don’t believe that more is possible, you’re very likely to prove yourself right. So, how good can you stand your love life (or any aspect of your life) being?

Tune in this week to discover how to allow yourself to want things, and that it’s safe to allow yourself to enjoy what you want. Even if you and your affair partner are both married with children and you’re worried about the consequences if you’re honest about your desires, Dr. Marie Murphy is showing you how to open yourself up to the possibility that any situation you’re in could be as good as you can stand it.
